Abstract: | This is the fifth part in a series of taxonomic and faunistic studies on the Sciaridae of Taiwan and contains the descriptions of 36 new species. 8 species could be identified as known, but they are recorded for the first time for the Taiwanian fauna. The species belong to the following genera: Dichopygina (1), Camptochaeta (3), Corynoptera (33) and Keilbachia (7). Within the large genus Corynoptera most of the new described species belong to the subtilis-group (11), parvula-group (10) and the dumosa-group (5). The important morphological characters are illustrated and a discussion of the systematic position is given for each species. |
