| Abstract: | 412 specimens from the super-family Sciaroidea, collected in the Federal State Hesse, were examined. They were identified as Fungus Gnats (Diadocidiidae, Ditomyiidae, Keroplatidae, Mycetophilidae) and Black Fungus Gnats (Sciaridae). The specimens were collected with sweep nets from two different localities (Beise Valley by Niederbeisheim, Fulda Valley by Neumorschen). A total of 72 species were determined, of which 26 species are new for the dipteran fauna of Hesse. |
